Powerpoint

Last November, one of the guys involved in Powerpoint took some video and photos of the event...hopefully this gives you a flavour of what a typical Friday night at Powerpoint looks like.

It's aimed at high school students (11-18 yrs) in Edinburgh and surrounding areas. I know there are some who come in from Glasgow, Linlithgow and Dunfermline. (I also know that some of the Linlithgow crew will be heading out to South Africa for Soul in the City this summer along with me and almost 400 others!)

A typical night involves a short time of musical worship, some games, a talk from a guest speaker, an opportunity for prayer ministry, 'The Mix' (basically a break where kids can chat, and get something from the tuck shop) and then an extended time of worship which tends to be louder, rockier and there can be a lot of jumping.
